CHAMONIX (French Alps), January 24.
AN Air-India Boeing 707 airliner crashed in a snow storm today on Mont Blanc, and it is feared all 117 aboard were killed.
Dr. H. J. Bhabha, chairman of India's Atomic Energy Commission, was on the ill-fated plane, bound for Geneva from Bombay.
Rescuers at the wreckage said they found five bodies but no sign of life at all. They had reached the scene by helicopter in Chamonix.

NEW DELHI, January 24: The President, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, has said that the pasing away of Dr. H. J. Bhabha was a great loss to the world of science and to India.
In a message of sympathy to the bereaved family the President said, "I am shocked to hear of the passing away of Dr. H. J. Bhabha in an air crash. I have known him for over a generation. I last met him only a week ago.
"He was one of our most brilliant scientists who not only did outstanding work of his own but also gave encouragement to thousands of our young scientists in the Atomic Energy Commission and the Institute of Fundamental Research."
