Lalhruaitluangi Sailo, from Lunglei, Mizoram, is committed to supporting patients beyond medical treatment, focusing on their emotional and holistic well-being. Her journey began while caring for her grandmother during her battle with cancer - a deeply personal experience that made her aware of the emotional strain faced by families.
After graduating in 2022, Sailo launched Muantu, meaning "Comfort" in the Mizo dialect, an initiative that provides emotional and spiritual support to both patients and their families.
