Fellowship Film: The Healing Power of Forests
This short film follows Rejoice Gassah, a passionate bird guide and staff member in the biodiversity department at Makunda Hospital in Karimganj, Assam. Rejoice shares his deep love for nature as he documents the local flora and fauna, trains local youth, and works to protect the region's rich biodiversity.
He works to raise awareness and highlights threats to wildlife and the importance of locally-led conservation efforts. Makunda Hospital’s approach to healthcare integrates environmental protection into its mission, emphasising the health of both humans and the natural world.
