During the turbulent period of the Bodo Mass Movement for demanding Bodoland, the rich tapestry of Manas National Park reached its lowest point with the highest numbers of loss of wildlife and large-scale habitat destruction. Amidst this, how an NGO 'Manas Maozigendri Ecotourism Society', became the catalyst of change for the park and its people, along with many others to bring Manas back from the brink.
