The Uttarakhand Forest Department will teach one lakh people in ten hill areas with the support of Titli Trust in order to encourage "ecopreneurship," a type of enterprise where environmental concerns are prioritised over profits. In order to generate cash and slow down migration, the ecopreneurs will receive training on how to organise birding, snow-leopard excursions, nature walks, and "ethical trekking" in difficult terrain.
