Summary: Chapter 1: Blind Photographer
Int. ALIYA'S HOUSE - day
Inside the same house at a much earlier time. There are painters and carpenters at work. From Vinay's POV, through the camera he's shooting with, we take a tour of the house.
Let me show you this. Come here.
Take your hand. Just put it on the wardrobe here.
(Aliya follows the instructions)
And just go through this. That's the wardrobe we are trying to build. Go through it, go through it.
What is that?
Just keep going. Now, what we do is basically, we see through the wardrobe, right? And it goes into a perspective sort of a painting in the back.
So it's basically a hole?
It's a hole. In a wardrobe. Obviously, slightly malfunctional. But, it'll look very good. Um, sort of looking to the infinity and all that.
He leads her away.
Let me show you this. Come here. Careful. And, if you just, see that.
He runs her hand along a shelf that is being worked on, on the floor. Saw dust and shavings litter the area as the workers watch on.
What is it?
That's the whole city scape thing that we're trying to build. And what's gonna happen is we'll start from near the window over there and it's gonna go across about two metres. And, I don't know, capture the essence of the whole cityscape or something like that. But that'll look nice when it's done.
They get up and move away.
And now, I think, I should just take you to the bedroom and put you to sleep.
