Just a hundred years ago, slavery was acceptable in most parts of the world. Women had no voting rights. Human rights were based on the colour of your skin. Such violations are unfathomable now. And I'm asking a simple question.
Beside him is seated a Buddhist monk. Opposite them is a female anchor.
Isn't it possible to recognise this continuum of existence not only across caste and creed but also across species? If most people stopped eating meat, the world's oil reserves will last twenty times longer. Forty times lesser water will be used in the production of food. And there are several arguments from environmental and health point of views. But lets also look at the ethicity of it. Pigs, birds, cattle, feel pain and remorse like we do.
