pradeep gandhi getting suspicious
select

Pradeep Gandhi is an easygoing but a very cautious person.

After meeting Navratan Malhotra, the executive director of the dummy organization NISMA,

and Namita Gokhale, a representative of NISMA, Pradeep Gandhi becomes suspicious if it is a sting operation.

Gandhi called both of them at his house and inspected the bag. But greed outweighed his suspicions and even this time, he was paid Rs. 5000

...as you can see lying on the table in this video.

R: I had given you five yesterday
MP: Keep it for now. If you don't have it now, we will still do it.

R: I will pay you the complete thing with balance.
MP: No issues. Keep it.

N: Then it will be confirmed for 6 months.
R: Yes.

N: The entire thing.
R: This way it will be 30.

N: I can't give you more than 25,000 in cash.
MP: No, that's all right. You guys... you keep it. We will work it out. No issues.

R: It's clear now. It's 30 now.
N: But sir seems afraid. You can see the fear on his face! [laughs]

MP: I said, is there a tape in there?
N: If there was a tape, I would have left by now.

MP: No, what is in there? That's why I am suspicious.
N: Oh no, sir. All this...

R: It's okay, sir.
MP: Sure. Show it to me, what's the issue?

N: Here. Show it to sir. The bag. Show the bag.
MP: No no, in there...

N: That was down here.
R: Of course.

MP: Now if the thought comes to mind...
R: Of course, sir. It's primary for us to clear your doubts.

MP: Then... I said what I thought, whether there is a tape in it.

N: Oh no, sir.
MP: Yes, yes.

R: You, too, sir...
MP: Today...

N: Show your bag. Your bag was on the top for no reason.

N: Let's take sir to Muradabad in a couple of days. Sir, let's go to Muradabad.

R: Yes.
MP: Yes.

N: It's not like that. Travel with...
MP: Everything I had in mind...

R: Here.
MP: Among us..

N: It doesn't look nice that sir is suspicious.
MP: No. If I am doing something, we have to be a bit clear cut.

MP: There was a thought in mind, hence I said that. Let's go. There's no harm in that.

N: All of that... every suspicion... we will meet everyone.
MP: Yes.

N: That's when your suspicions... even now you have some. I know that when you meet everyone, then your suspicions will be over.

MP: Yes.

Pradeep Gandhi, an MP elected on a BJP ticket from Rajnandgaon constituency, is ready to ask questions and submit petitions in Lok Sabha.

He proposes to appoint another person for the job.

But he isn't happy with only Rs. 25,000 a month. He wants Rs. 50,000 a month.

He is ready to accept half the amount by cheque.

MP: Okay. I think we should make it 50.
R: 50,000?

MP: Yes. Then I will manage one or two more people. Even if they are put in expediture consultancy (?), it won't be an issue.

R: Okay.
MP: That way your work will be done.

R: Will a cheque do?
MP: In that, say, we will distribute it. Half-half.

R: Half-half. Half in cheque and half in cash.

MP: That way.
R: Okay.

Date: November 8, 2005.
Place: 38, Minabaug, New Delhi.

Navratan Malhotra, the director of NISMA, proposed to pay the amount equivalent to 6 months in advance (?) to Pradeep Gandhi.

MP Gandhi happily agreed.

Navratan (N): Give sir as much as we owe now. The rest we will give by a cheque. When will you tell us about the amount to be paid by cheque?

MP: Now we have this month. So...
N: Yes.

N: Will you tell us when the session starts?
MP: The session will begin now.

R: Do we have to pay money?
N: The rest will be given by cheque.

R: Is that okay?
MP: Yes, that's not an issue. That's not what I meant. I was saying,

R: Yes?
MP: Plan accordingly.
N: Right.

MP: Then that will be convenient for you too.
N: How do we work it out, that Rs. 25,000 in cash?

R: Yes?
N: The one we had given earlier.

R: We have given the whole of 25,000 first. Then we gave 10,000.
N: So that was a component cash of this.

R: Yes.
N: Okay.

MP: No, if we have to make it regular, then suppose...
N: Then say we give you an advance for 6 months...

MP: Make it so.
R: Total comes to 45. 45,000.

N: Okay.
MP: No no, what you should do is make one payment for 6 months. Then you pay every 6 months.

N: Every 6 months.
MP: Instalments of 6 months. Problem solved.

Let's show you how MP Pradeep Gandhi took a bribe.
