It begins with the Lakhdam pooja where a hundred thousand and eight clay shiv lingas are made in the grounds of the Triyambakeshwar temple in Nashik . The ritual was once sponsored by the Maharaja of Darbhanga. CB’s father Ram Bahadur Thakur had once been in the retinue of the Maharaja and had visited with him the temple meeting the Panda Devkute. After the end of the Darbhanga Raj which ended in the 50’s as it went extinct. CB continued the pooja in honour of his father and it still continues today. The pooja is from 1973. We then see , SK Singh’s wife Vijaya Singh with her children Pratik and Neeta, we see them running around the Wilson Dam. We see Kanchan going to Ooty for the first time and living at the Auchindoon Bungalow. the family is in Ayodhya where they run a sarai and temple as a foundation for pilgrims from Mithila. It was founded by CB’s father Ram Bahadur Thakur as the home of Sita. The seen begins with the evening offering at Naya Ghat while the sun sets on the Saryu River. This ritual is to Pratiusha or the rays of the setting sun , who is considered a goddess for health of children in Bihar. Each year 5 days after Diwali across the eastern Gangetic plains people pray to the sister of the Sun for benediction.We see the morning ritual in this video. We also see CB’s mother Ramanandi Thakurain and his aunt Sampatodevi Thakurain. The next sees them at the Sea Lord hotel in Allepey and then it records Allepey Boat Race , they own tea estates in Idukki called the Travancore Tea Estates Limited. The next scene is at Madh Island, Malad with Rajgopalan the company law secretary. The next is a Christmas Turkey dinner at the Auchindoon Bungalow in Ooty . We then see the family visiting Vijaynagar and Halibedu and Hampi. Each year during the winters CB would drive down to Cochin with the family in many cars and visit historic sites on the way in Karnataka primarily or Goa , but also travel at times to Tamil Nadu and places in Kerala. The last drive south was in 2000 during the millennium holidays. The next scene is from a private sweet at the recently opened Holiday Inn hotel in Juhu. A brief move back to the morning Ritual at Ayodhya ghat for Chath pooja is followed by close of the Triyambakeshwar Temple.
