Summary: Iswar sleeps a lot, Anushka is an early morning riser. So finding things to do for those two hours in the morning have been quite tricky. On one such days in McLeod Ganj, Anushka went off to the terrace of the hotel we were staying in and started shooting some random visuals. Mostly of the space. These multi coloured houses peppered across the landscape. Playing hide and seek with the trees. The clothes line with multi coloured clothes clips dancing in the breeze to the back ground of these multi coloured houses. And then she saw an eagle soaring across the sky. She started filming the flight of an eagle. It would flap it would ride the thermals, it would swoop in and out. At times it would fly towards the sun and vanish in it only to reappear a second or two later.
Something about this footage made a lot of sense. We didnt know what it was, but there was something in it of immense beauty. So from here on we started filming a lot of birds in flight. And this became a strong transition theme for us in our first edit.
