Summary: Part of the footage of the film Taaza Khabar directed by Bishakha Datta and produced by Nirantar. The film is about the journey of a team of all women journalists of Khabar Lahariya (a grassroots newspaper published by the women themselves) through several obstacles. The determined efforts are to ensure the 62nd issue of Khabar Lahariya reaches its readers on time. The women are from Chitrakoot district in U.P. who report stories that find no space in mainstream media. It also portrays how these women have created their own space and established their identity in a context where patriarchy and caste-based discriminations are dominant. In this event, the journalists are at various stages of work in the newsroom - some reading, some writing. It moves on to show Mira supervising work on getting the news typed on the computer. We then see Mithilesh working on her cartoons.
Manju and Mira are discussing and writing notes. Mira enters a room where there is a man sitting at a computer. They turn it on and try to get it running. She gives him instructions to start typing and then to take a printout. She informs him that the printer hadn't worked the last time. The computer starts up and the screen flickers. Manju is sitting comfortably on the floor and writing notes. She writes with a pencil and erases it whenever she makes a mistake.

Mira comes back to the room and sits next to Bikas, the person working on the computer. She tells him that there are three pages and briefly mentions the stories that are written. Bikas types the stories quickly and with full concentration. Mira finds a mistake in one of the words that he types and asks him to correct it. He continues to type while Mira supervises. Manju comes in and asks Mira for help, who tells her that she'll come and help her soon.
Mithilesh is drawing intently in one of the other rooms. The loud sound of the generator looms in the background. Mira comes to see Mithilesh and briefly chats with her. Mithilesh is fully engrossed in her work and continues to draw on several pages. In one of them, she draws the figure of a man, starting with the face and completing the rest of the body. Beside him, she draws another man sitting across and pointing his hand towards him, in a particular expression.
