In continuation of meetings with our compatriots, he met our learned men, religious figures and representatives of different tribes of the country in the garden of the Office of National Council on 6th of Jauza (27th May). He pointed to the cruelty of the Naderia family and said: "today, the power is in the hands of noble people of Afghanistan, including laborers, farmers and all patriotic elements. 7th Sawr Revolution (27th April) was the result of cruelty of the aristocracy of the draconic royal regime which desired nothing for anyone but itself! Their dark policy was, to divide and rule.
Representatives of people of Balkh, Madi Kheil, Shomol, Fizaee, Ismaeel Kheil, Mandoozai, Watenei, and the big district of Khost, tribes of Bodakheil, Momand, Zadran, Hazara, Daichopan, Hotak, Shinkai, Kharoot tribe, Sadauza, Khazak, Toti, Alokozai, Sulaiman Kheil, Naseri and Popal zai, listened to the statements of the Head of the Revolutionary Council in a friendly, merry and sincere atmosphere and in return they expressed the loyalty and honest support of their people from their country and their Sawr Revolution.
We had not surrendered to sons of rulers
Even though it was a wounded leopard
And that wounded leopard was sitting in a corner
Seeking an opportunity to tear our nation apart.
Head of General Assembly
Here is the house of fear of Dehmazang, the central prison of Kabul. It is a place where the prisoners were supposed to be corrected in accord with their human values and sense of dignity. But on the contrary, what was going on in this house of fear had nothing to do with human and life values, safety, dignity, honor and lives of prisoners.
Prisons, detention centers and houses of observation in Afghanistan were the tools of pressure and cruelty of the authoritarian royal families of Naderi and Dauodi.
Thousands of prisoners in horrendous, dark cells were rotting to death and might have even neglected, forgotten and left in the horrendous silence of these despotic forts to die.
Appreciating the victorious Sawr Revolution, the prisoners now are visited by an investigating delegation that sees into their well being and the condition. The delegation exposes the ominous and disgraceful, cruel, violent and far from human dignity acts that the prisoners were subject to in the period of cruel Naderi family.
..... the government of the time wanted to remove all that dirt and bad things and that was the reason why they accused us - good and innocent teachers in fact, and finally they, subjected us to inhumane tortures.
Due to its popular nature of Ministry of Justice and General Attorney's Office in Democratic Republic of Afghanistan, and in order to respect the honor, dignity of prisoners and as a part of their responsibility for the lives of prisoners, they appointed a delegation consisted of representatives of Ministry of justice, Attorney General Office, and the representative of Ministry of Interior on 26th Sawr (16th May), to visit the central prison of Dehmazang, houses of observation (correction) and detention centers of Kabul on the temporary basis.
The designate delegation has the authority to pardon or reduce sentences of the prisoners who are sick, aged, poor, desperate, and to suggest practical solutions for those prisoners in charge of big families, and those with other types of problems.
For the purpose of participating in the celebration for the commemoration of the Sawr Revolution, 30,000 of the residents of Jaji district
walked along the winding ways passing through mountains and valleys to reach the capital of the district on 15th Sawr (5th May) to announce their patriotic support for the revolution and their Democratic Republic State. The people of Jaji district first followed the tradition and ethnic way of marching with their tribal flags and revolutionary slogans by marching in front of the representative of the governor and the commanders of Paktia corps, they then stood in rows to listen to the speeches.
After a few verses of the elevated Quran were recited, the head of court of Paktia Province reflected upon the clear and patriotic emotions of Muslims and brave people of Jaji and stated those who were tricking the people of Jaji and other people of Afghanistan and were telling them lies have now been punished for their wrongdoings.
Expressing their emotions, the representatives of the farmers of Jaji District promised their devotion and sacrifice to achieve the goals of national and democratic revolution. They stated they and their strong, armed youth were ready to be utilized as the infantry forces of the state to sacrifice their lives to defend our country, national honor and our holy religion of Islam.
Patriotic and revolutionary slogans accompanied every stage of this ceremony.
The ceremony ended with national dances under the heavy rain.
Everything for a modern Afghanistan! With this slogan, students of University of Kabul commemorated the victory of the revolution on 16th Sawr (6th May) in a grand ceremony. Minister of Higher Education congratulated the young students on this day in a comprehensive speech and conveyed the warm wishes of Head of the Revolutionary council and the Prime Minister to the understanding and sophisticated youth of this country.
