Summary: This contains mostly visuals from a 'Sah Nirman' rally which was taken out by the survivors of the 2002 carnage in Gujarat. This was organised by the Society for the Promotion of Rationality (SPRAT), an NGO in Ahmedabad. Long lines of survivors and their supporters can be seen, as well as burnt vehicles and other goods which were being showcased in the rally, asking for justice and peace. A few short interviews with onlookers.
This footage is part of the Shared Footage collection. The Shared Footage Group was a collective formed in the aftermath of the carnage in Gujarat in 2002. It consisted of mainly film professionals and film students, apart from several others. The idea was to document survivor's stories on video so that the footage could be used later free of cost by anyone interested in the material.
