J. Nair: Will you say a little about your Youth Assoication?
Youth Association Member: What do I say?
J. Nair: When did it start? What activities take place? How many members are there?
There are many members, around 300, in the (statue?) committee.
Are you asking what benefits come from this, what service we do for the public? There are unemployment problems, right? We speak to the MLA and ask him to solve them.

The MLA has spoken to the government and given these to the people here. ... So one by one these things are being done. Ration card for someone, water, lights, what each area needs - through the youth we go and get these for every area.
J. Nair: Many statues have come up here?
The present MLA is in the RPI Party (Republican Party of India). ... 15 years ago our MLA came to this party. After he came, we got the strength to get things done with his help.
After he came, we got loans, many people were helped. Four of us in our youth association got autos. ... The government is getting these things ready for us.
